Border Town View of the Troops and the Caravan

Though a caravan of Central American migrants fleeing violence and extreme poverty remains hundreds of kilometers away from the U.S.-Mexico border, President Trump has begun to station more than 7,000 active-duty troops there in preparation for its arrival. In El Paso, one possible destination for those seeking asylum, border residents highlight a disconnect between optics and reality. VOA's Ramon Taylor reports from West Texas.
