RSF regrets Soros NGO’s departure from Hungary

NewsReporters Without Borders (RSF) regrets that the Open Society Foundation (OSF) has decided to close its Budapest office after Hungary’s announcement of proposed law targeting NGOs that “support immigration.” The OSF’s departure will hurt the independent Hungarian media outlets it supports. Created by Hungarian-born billionaire philanthropist George Soros in 1979, the OSF confirmed on 15 May that it is moving its Budapest office to Berlin.
