Afghan Journalist Shot Dead in Kandahar

Unknown gunmen shot and killed an Afghan journalist Wednesday in southern Kandahar province. Members of the media in the province are calling the attack an attempt to silence the freedom of expression. The incident is under investigation, and officials are not ruling out possible involvement by militants in the attack.
