U.S President Donald Trump Tuesday praised the strength of America's partnership with France — and the personal friendship he has developed with his French counterpart. President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Washington will be closely followed by the arrival of German Chancellor Angela Merkel later this week. And, as Henry Ridgwell reports from London, the two European leaders are lobbying hard for President Trump to shift his position on trade tariffs and the Iran nuclear deal.
