RSF urges China to free New York-based journalist’s wife

NewsReporters Without Borders (RSF) calls for the immediate release of Li Huaiping, the wife of New York-based Chinese-American journalist Chen Xiaoping (Sam Chen), who says the Chinese authorities are holding her in attempt to stop his embarrassing revelations about the Chinese leaders.Li was kidnapped from her home in the southern city of Guangzhou on 18 September after sending a distress SMS to her husband as he was about to conduct his sixth and final interview with Guo Wengui
