Israel Launches Airstrikes in Gaza

Israel has carried out airstrikes against targets in the Gaza Strip for the first time since an August truce. Confirming the early Saturday strikes, the Israeli military said they were launched in retaliation for a rocket shot from Gaza into southern Israel on Friday. The rocket did not cause any injuries.
