Conference in Phnom Penh promotes freedom of information in Cambodia

In Phnom Penh, The World Press Freedom Day 2010 was celebrated on 4 May with the one-day conference co-organised by UNESCO and the UN Office for Human Rights. The celebration was held at the National Institute of Education (NIE) and was attended by representatives of the Cambodian media, members of the Cambodian government, donors, NGOs, media students and members of the Cambodian indigenous and Cham communities.
