Haiti: UNICEF steps up supply effort to protect child health in quake zone

NEW YORK, USA, 16 January 2010 – Thousands have died, an unknown number are injured and an estimated 300,000 are homeless following the earthquake that struck Port-au-Prince and other densely populated areas of Haiti on 12 January, affecting a total of more than 3 million people.
