Hungary - European Parliament urged to pass resolution condemning Hungary's new media law

Despite unanimous opposition from leading media freedom organizations, the Hungarian parliament has adopted a controversial law overhauling the state-owned media and creating a Media Council with utterly disproportionate powers.
