Reporters Without Borders is very disturbed by yesterday's arrest of Nevanji Madanhire, the editor of the Harare-based weekly The Standard, and calls for his immediate release. The press freedom organization condemns the threatening methods being used by the police and the climate of fear they have created for Zimbabwean journalists.
