A veteran Reporters Without Borders correspondent and political activist, Max Watts, died in Sydney, Australia, on 23 November. He was 81. Max had been sending Reporters Without Borders information about the press freedom situation in his adoptive country for more than 10 years. He also gave us with information about Timor, Palestine and Papua New Guinea.
