Ilaria Allegrozzi

Ilaria Allegrozzi is the Senior Central Africa Researcher at Human Rights Watch, focusing primarily on Cameroon. Before joining Human Rights Watch, she worked as Senior Researcher for Amnesty International, investigating conflict-related abuses in Cameroon, Chad, and the Central African Republic. She focused on issues of counterterrorism and torture of detainees in the Lake Chad basin, including through the use of open source investigation techniques.
