Blitzkrieg: UNHRC’s social media assault on Israel

A social media blitzkrieg against Israel that was launched by the UN rights office on the same day as the release of a report by a commission of inquiry on Gaza protests calls into question the credibility and quasi-judicial nature of the investigation. The inquiry is supposed to be composed of three commissioners who are independent of both the 47-nation UN Human Rights Council, and the 1,000-strong office of the UN High Commissioner for human rights (OHCHR).
