Gracias por el apoyo –The ICRC in Colombia

Despite recent progress towards peace, Colombia continues to suffer forced displacement, threats of violence and damage to civilian property. Jordi Raich, head of the ICRC delegation in Colombia, shares his reading of the conflict and the humanitarian situation in the country. He speaks about the consequences of a conflict that has lasted half-a-century, the way the ICRC operates and such topics as the 70,000 people still missing today. For the first time, Jordi Raich details the neutral intermediary role that the ICRC plays in negotiations between the government and FARC-EP.
