Novaya Gazeta deputy editor Sergei Sokolov has announced that he will return to Russia this week following an apology from Gen. Alexander Bastrykin, the head of Russia's Investigative Committee, for threatening to kill him (see below). The death threat caused a major outcry in Russia. Gen.
