New Guidelines Aim to Prevent Peanut Allergies in Children

Peanuts and the food products made from them, such as peanut butter, oil or flour, are widely used in the United States and elsewhere for their nutritional value and affordable prices. Unfortunately, many people are allergic to peanuts. New guidelines sponsored by the National Institutes of Health suggest that children should be exposed to peanuts at an earlier age to prevent the development of allergies. VOA's Zlatica reports.
