New Film ‘Elvis & Nixon’ Tells Improbable Story Behind Meeting

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. The famous photograph of Elvis Presley shaking the hand of U.S. President Richard Nixon in the Oval office is worth a lot more. The photo captured the imagination of filmmaker Liza Johnson, who recreated the encounter in her new insightful comedy “Elvis & Nixon.” VOA's Penelope Poulou has more.
