Mexico Chemical Plant Explosion Kills 3

An explosion Wednesday at a chemical plant in southeastern Mexico killed three people, sent dozens more to the hospital and released a toxic cloud into the sky. The cause of the blast in Coatzacoalcos, in Veracruz state, was not immediately clear.  The site is jointly run by the national oil company Pemex and a company called Mexichem to make chemicals used in plastic pipes.
