Kurds: IS Commander Killed in Attack By US, Pershmerga Forces

U.S. Special Forces together with Kurdish peshmerga on Monday launched a helicopter attack against an Islamic State commander, killing him and two of his bodyguards, Kurdish national security sources said. Salman Abd Shaib al-Jabouri, also known as Abu Saif, was killed as he traveled near Hamam Ali, south of Mosul, the security sources said.
