Uganda President Museveni Re-elected

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, in power for 30 years, was declared the winner Saturday in this week's election with nearly 61 percent of the vote,  extending his rule another five years. According to the electoral commission, Museveni garnered 60.75 percent of the final vote, Besigye captured 35.37 percent, and independent candidate Amama Mbabazi took 1.43 percent.
