American Photographer Penn Captured More Than Just Fashion

Irving Penn was one of the most prominent and influential fashion and celebrity photographers of the 20th century. His 70 years of work is now being celebrated in a new exhibit in Washington. This first retrospective since his death in 2009 proves that Penn's talent stretched far beyond the fashion world. VOA’s Julie Taboh reports.
