Palestinian Youth Killed in West Bank Clashes

Palestinian medical officials say a Palestinian youth was killed as clashes continue with Israeli soldiers in the West Bank, spreading fears of a further escalation in the violence. A doctor at the territory's Tulkarem hospital said the 18-year-old was killed early Monday. Israel's military said hundreds of Palestinians threw firebombs, rolled burning tires and threw rocks at soldiers, who eventually opened fire.
