Militants Attack Pakistani Air Force Base

Pakistan's military says a group of militants attacked a Pakistani Air Force base in the northwestern region of the country early Friday. Seven to ten gunmen attacked the base in Peshawar's Badaber district, a military spokesman said. The official said six insurgents have been killed in the exchange of gunfire with security forces, while two of the security forces were injured.  There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
