Burundi - Postponed elections in Burundi, an "insufficient gesture"

While the privately-owned media remain closed, the presidential election that was to have been held today has been postponed by the government until 21 July. Reporters Without Borders and 16 other NGOs that signed an appeal for dialogue regard the postponement as “insufficient” because it does not allow time for a real democratic dialogue.
