American Muslims Prepare for Ramadan

The Islamic holy month of Ramadan will start Thursday, June 18th, and Muslims around the world are preparing for the time of fasting, reflection and communal gatherings. The exact start of the lunar month varies by location, according to the sighting of the crescent moon. Mike O'Sullivan visited a mosque near Los Angeles to learn why American Muslims view the month as special.
