Burundi may face prolonged political crisis, warns UN, urging attention to human rights and humanitarian situation

The United Nations human rights office (OHCHR) has voiced concern over the developments in Burundi over the past two days and urged all armed forces and non-state actors to refrain from actions that may endanger civilians, according to a spokesperson.
