Afghan Official: Gunman Kills Provincial Prosecutor

An Afghan lawmaker says a senior prosecutor from an eastern province bordering Pakistan has been assassinated outside his home in the capital, Kabul. Mujibullah Rahman, who represents Paktia province in the Afghan parliament, said on Friday that the province's chief prosecutor, Najibullah Sultanzoi, was shot dead by a gunman when he answered a knock at the door of his home on Thursday night.
