Al-Shabab Kills 9 at Mogadishu Hotel

Al-Shabab militants have attacked a major hotel in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, killing at least nine people, including a Somali ambassador.  The area has been conrdoned off by security forces, but it appears militants remain in control of the Maka al-Mukarama hotel, a popular stop for government officials, lawmakers, civil servants and Somalis from the diaspora.  Witnesses say Friday's attack began with a car-bomb explosion just outside the hotel, followed by three to...
