A Chinese court has sentenced a health official in Shanghai to 19 years in prison for accepting bribes and embezzlement, official media said Monday. The Xinhua news agency said the Shanghai Number One Intermediate People's Court on Sunday sentenced Huang Fenping on a conviction of accepting more than $481,000 in bribes and embezzling nearly $225,000.
