Somali al-Shabab Rebels Kill Lawmaker

Gunmen killed a lawmaker in Somalia's capital Monday. Abdullahi Qayyad Barre was gunned down in the the Hamar Jajab district of Mogadishu. Al-Qaida-linked al-Shabab rebels claimed responsibility for the drive-by shooting. Barre is the first lawmaker to be killed in Somalia this year. Five were killed last year.
