Report: US Population Grows to More Than 320 Million

The Census Bureau said the U.S. population grew a bit less than 1 percent over the last year and will hit 320,090,857 at New Year. The U.S. population is growing because there is one birth every eight seconds and one international migrant arrives every 33 seconds. That outpaces U.S. deaths, which occur every 11 seconds.
