Dallas Ebola Patient Dies at Texas Hospital

The first Ebola patient diagnosed in the United States has died in a Dallas, Texas hospital. Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital says Thomas Eric Duncan died Wednesday at 7:51 a.m. local time. Duncan, a Liberian national, was visiting family in Dallas when he became sick and entered the hospital on September 28.  He initially went to the facility three days earlier, complaining of fever and abdominal pain, but was sent home with antibiotics.
