UK on Knife-Edge as Scotland Set to Vote on Independence

People in Scotland will vote next week in a referendum to decide whether to stay in the United Kingdom along with England, Wales and Northern Ireland, or to break away and become an independent nation. Some recent polls indicate the lead held by the ‘No’ campaign has melted away - and support for the two sides is now neck-and-neck.
