4 Palestinians Killed Following Start of Truce

Officials in the Gaza Strip said Israeli shelling has killed at least four Palestinians, barely two hours after the start of what was supposed to be a three-day cease-fire. The officials said Israeli tanks opened fire near the southern city of Rafah Friday. Sirens were also heard in the southern Israeli city of Kerem Shalom, presumably the result of rockets being fired by Palestinian militants.
