Thousands Receive Agricultural Assistance in CAR

The International Committee of the Red Cross has begun distributing seeds and farming equipment in the Central African Republic (C.A.R.). The ICRC said the aid is vital to the survival of families who fled rebel attacks and now are returning home to find their farms and granaries destroyed. The aid program targets more than 30 villages in the west of the country, and will give supplies to more than 13,000 people.
