Gunmen Abduct 200 Girls From Nigerian School

Gunmen have kidnapped an estimated 200 students from a school for girls in northeastern Nigeria. Witnesses say the mass abduction took place in the early hours of Tuesday, as the gunmen attacked the town of Chibok in Borno state. A local resident tells VOA that the assailants burned houses, offices and the Chibok Government Girls Secondary School before kidnapping the students, who he says were packed into a truck.
