Japan has appealed to the Netherlands to take action against a Dutch-registered vessel that collided with a Japanese whaling ship in the Southern Ocean on Sunday. The Bob Barker, belonging to the militant conservationist group Sea Shepherd, came into contact with a Japanese harpoon vessel while trying to disrupt the hunt.
