Fighting Erupts Between Soldiers, M23 in DRC

Soldiers in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo are closing in on one of the last strongholds of rebel group M23. Government officials said Wednesday that heavy fighting had erupted near the eastern town of Bunagana, near the Ugandan border. U.N. refugee agency (UNHCR) officials say some 2,000 Congolese civilians have fled into Uganda, with about 6,000 more preparing to cross the border.
