Reporters Without Borders calls for the immediate and unconditional release of Ahmad Abu Draa, an award-winning reporter for the Egyptian daily Al-Masry Al-Youm and the TV station ONTV, who was arrested at a state security office in El-Arish, in North Sinai, when he went to seek the release of a close relative on 4 September. Yesterday, Draa was taken before a military prosecutor in the neighbouring province of Ismailia, who ordered him held for two weeks for the purposes of investigation. (...)
