Reporters Without Borders condemns the arrest of Pham Viet Dao, a writer and blogger who had become increasingly critical of the government and senior officials in the blog he published under the pen-name of Phu Loc Tho. A member of the Association of Vietnamese Writers and the Association of Vietnamese Journalists, Dao used to be the head of the Press and Publications Inspection Bureau.
