A Bangkok judge today postponed a verdict in the high-profile trial of Chiranuch Premchaiporn, the editor of the news website Prachatai, for a month, until 30 May, on the grounds that she had not yet had enough time to examine all the documents submitted during the trial. Around 100 Thai and foreign journalists and international observers had gathered outside the criminal court this morning to await the verdict, which the judge had been due to deliver today.
