The two Reporters Without Borders Assistance Desks, based in Paris and Berlin, have the job of coordinating the administrative, material and financial help that Reporters Without Borders provides to journalists and media in distress. The two Assistance Desks allocated a total of 163 assistance grants in 2011 with a combined value of more than €175,000.
