Solar-powered Plane Reaches Phoenix in Bid to Circle Globe

A solar-powered plane trying to fly around the world landed late Monday in Phoenix, Arizona to complete the latest leg of its journey. The pilots of Solar Impulse 2 will next fly on a course toward New York before crossing the Atlantic Ocean for a stop either in Europe or Northern Africa.
