With job losses in July, and affordability concerns, several members of Congress are so mad that they’re going after Dr. Anthony Fauci over COVID-19. Their strategy seems to be to try and get him to perjure himself. When he pleaded the 5th Amendment, they voted to hold him in contempt of Congress. I look at the data, and the facts, in the case of COVID-19.

They introduce themselves: “ We are a group of researchers in Thessaloniki working on a common academic project related to the Shoah. Aliki Arouh, genealogist and researcher archivist of the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki, , Aigli Brouskou, an anthropologist, researcher of the Municipal Foundling Home of Thessaloniki ‘Agios Stylianos’ and Areti Makri, archivist at the State Archives in Thessaloniki and a researcher”.

On June 19, 2012, Harper's government has put Canada’s digital future at risk by signing on to the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP). This secretive international trade agreement will give Big Media conglomerates new powers to lock users out of our own content and services, provide new liabilities that might force ISPs to police our online activity, and give giant media companies even greater powers to shut down websites and remove content at will.

Washington, DC - The Occupy Wall Street movement protesting against corporate practices has me daring to hope that the striking disparities in the United States will change for the better. It takes a leap of faith to be hopeful, because substantial change has not come in response to the economic crisis, housing market crash, persistent high unemployment rates or debt ceiling debacle. The institutions causing these disasters have received only a cursory slap on the wrist.
