Malgré les progrès réalisés en matière d’égalité des sexes, on est encore loin du compte en ce qui concerne la proportion de femmes dans la vie politique canadienne. Avec seulement le tiers des sièges à la Chambre des communes occupés par des femmes, le Parlement a encore un long chemin à parcourir pour refléter la diversité de la population qu’il représente.
