Même les propriétaires de chats les plus dévoués se demandent un jour ou l’autre, peut-être en se réveillant en sueur au milieu de la nuit, si leur chat les aime vraiment. Ceux qui préfèrent les chiens affirment que ces animaux sont depuis longtemps les meilleurs amis des humains.

Les recherches montrent toutefois que la réputation de froideur et de réserve des chats n’est pas méritée.
