L'usage de l'intelligence artificielle en musique est en plein essor. Les questions autour de l'expansion de ce genre d'outils sont nombreuses : où se placent les musiciens dans leur collaboration avec l’intelligence artificielle ? Peut-on qualifier une IA de créative ? Comment définit-on la créativité ?

Pour tenter de répondre à ces questions, Ninon Devis, doctorante au sein de l'équipe ACIDS à l’IRCAM, et Maxime Mantovani, artiste en résidence dans la même équipe, tissent un portrait de l'intelligence artificielle dans la musique tout en nuances.
