Trump’s Human Rights Pick is Torture Apologist

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee is considering President Donald Trump’s pick to be the nation’s top diplomat on human rights. The problem is that the nominee, Marshall Billingslea, advocated torture, so-called “enhanced interrogation,” and other illegal practices as a senior official in the George W.
