What is happening in Tajikistan in terms of domestic violence? Reports indicate that at least one out of five, and probably more, women in Tajikistan have been abused by a current or former husband or partner. The number is likely much higher, but the government doesn’t systematically collect the information, and women are reluctant to report abuse.
