In March, Sahar was arrested by police trying to enter the main stadium in Tehran to watch a football match. Months later, dogged by courts and threatened by imprisonment, she set herself on fire in front of a court house. Her tragic death has prompted an outpouring from advocate, journalists and football players around the world, asking FIFA to take action to end Iran's unjust stadium ban.
